[Open Discussion] Marketing Reports - Share Your Best Practices

Considering we’re approaching the end of the year, this topic is specifically important in the coming weeks. Many of you are now reviewing your team’s 2018’s performance, and Reports are an essential tool to give you unique insight and overview of what you’ve achieved in last year.

The below tutorial outlines how you can leverage Wrike to show, in detail, your team have performed in the last year. Reports like this are great to show your manager and share with your team to recognize their contributions.

What do you think of the below Report building? Share your own team’s approach to Reports in Wrike below.

This video was super helpful! The Reports feature is one I haven't played around with as much. We are not only going to report to our VP about our progress with Wrike this year; we're also going to have a Wrike Awards Ceremony next year! With that in mind, I had a couple of thoughts and ways this feature could be improved:

1. Who created the most tasks report can be misleading. I exported the report to Excel to do some more nitty-gritty data analysis, and while one team member authored the most tasks, many of them were recurring. To me, that technically doesn't count toward the Wrike Traffic Controller Award (although it WOULD be a great way to identify and acknowledge someone who's using the recurring task feature the most). After removing the recurring tasks, there was a new winner. She essentially had the most unique number of tasks.

2. It would be so cool to be able to report on who's collaborating the most. In my mind, this would be measured by how many comments each person has left on all tasks and projects. I haven't been able to find a way to get this information.

3. I keep going back to the fact that there's no filter exceptions in Wrike. I run into this a lot with Dashboards as well. It would be INVALUABLE for my team. I know this has been mentioned in the community before, including once by me. 😁

4. Does anyone have other ideas for Wrike Awards?! All I have right now is the Wrike Rockstar and Traffic Controller. What about the person who sought out the most training? Maybe a funny award for someone who's not fully on board yet (The Still Stickin' to Spreadsheets Award)? I would love to get feedback on our Wrike Awards Ceremony! 😄

Overall, great video. Thanks, Stephen!

@Stephen Thanks for posting about this video!

@Anna Hi there 👋I helped make that video so I was so excited to your comment and wanted to jump in. I love that you're reporting to your VP on progress and that you'll be hosting Wrike Awards. There are a couple people doing it now (that we've heard of) so maybe we can get a thread and maybe even pictures shared around how they go.

1) Really interesting to separate recurring from unique tasks. I think it depends on how people are using recurring tasks and the way you've split it up allows you to highlight different types of work being done 🙌

2) Sounds like a great request for the Product Feedback section!

4) I think you're looking for feedback from other Community members here, but I personally really like The Still Stickin' to Spreadsheets award 😉

I'm glad you found the video helpful, we had a great time making it!
