Hi Wong,
The color of the bar in the Gantt chart correlate with the workflow status.
IE if you have "New Tasks" in your Workflow as light blue, then the bar in the Gantt chart will be light blue.

Yes, but is it possible to add custom colors to that extremely short list? It would be nice to have the option of color coding a project's roll up by assignee rather than overall status so that one could visually represent team workload laid out in gantt view.
I would like to assign a separate colour to each project also. It is more user friendly.

You can apply colors to the projects like this:
The Gantt Chart, however, will still show the project's color according to the project status. We've recently released custom statuses for projects ( available for Business and Enterprise subscriptions) - there are now a lot more options than green, red or yellow. More info on our Help Center:

I am also requesting better color customizing. We are considering using a different SAAS product because we can't do this very simple thing.

Wrike is so great, this is another baffling exclusion. Here's our issue: When I look at the Gantt Chart, it's very difficult to tell WHO is working on a given item. I'd love to color our bars by assignee, not by status. I can't fathom why this isn't an option.

What does it take to get an enhancement on the roadmap? I too find this to be an absolute need for our projects. (Gantt bar color to correlate to the team assigned to the task.) Thanks!
The ability to control the gantt bar colors based on assignee is critical to the usability of the gantt chart feature. We need it for capacity planning. When will this enhancement be available?

We're actually on trial. And this small item might be a no-go for us. We have to give the gantt chart to each company we work with, and they need to have a real quick reading of it.
We are actually creating new status names with different trades for each companies.
