Looking to create forms for multiple jobs

Hi there,

Looking to see if it is possible to get training on how to use Wrike for departmental workload Would it be possible for any information regarding possible training session (with a view to rolling out the use of Wrike across the directorate) and using forms to capture work requests etc.?

Best,

Steve Gallagher

Hi Steve,

Have you taken a look at the Webinar section of the forum? There are a number of great training sessions in there.

"Change Management" and "How to Use Wrike Request Forms and Reports" are two that may suit some of your needs

We use forms to capture work requests.  We have 4 different types of forms.  Two of the forms are task based - and sent outside the organization - to a client - basically the client fills in the information needed for the project.  When these come into Wrike, I move them to the appropriate project.   We also have forms used by other departments seeking work from our team.  These are tied to templates so they prepopulate the work for our team.  I review the request and sometimes edit the project a bit before adding the assignee.  Both uses of the forms in Wrike has been so hopeful to our increasing workload and gets the work in Wrike sooner.

I have created request forms and assigned the task created a custom workflow. Each workflow change reassigns the task to the next person in the process. Huge time saver!

Great ideas everyone.

Anyone looking to automate the assigning of tasks based on Workflow status changes like Marj outlines above? Here's the article explaining how it works 👍Like Marj says, it's a real time saver - especially for repeatable tasks!

Here is a sample Workflow with Auto Assign that i have set up for our Web Blog Article Writing. I have also created a dashboard to match the status of each task. :D

The Wrike Tracker is a Collaborator i set up to assign tasks that i don't want to show up in Alisha or my To-do's.  The main task that the Pending Post Dates tasks are under is assigned to Alisha. This way, she's not seeing all these tasks in her to-do, just the main one. Saves on Clutter.

NOTE: The only drawback is the Wrike does not UNassign the previous person, it adds the new one. @Stephen, is this possibly in the works?

We're redesigning our workflows and had the same question about auto-assign. How do you work around this? Thanks!

The only solution i have found so far, is that whoever clicks on the status that assigns to the next person, they have to remove themselves. Hoping this is being worked on by the devs.
