Visibility on which folders are shared with a group

Hi there,

In Account Management > Users & Groups, it would be good to see which folders are shared with each group. Currently, it is very difficult to see which folders are shared with a group.

As an example, I am trying to delete a group but the response I get is "Group cannot be deleted if tasks and/or folders are shared with this group. Please unshare data first." We have a lot of folders in our account and I have to search through them all individually to see which ones are shared with the user group I'm trying to delete.

Hi Tessa,

If you have an Enterprise account, get in touch with your product manager ask them to give you access to the "Access Reports" page in Account Management. This allows me to select any list of folders/projects and see what group and individuals they are shared with.

Have you looked at the Access Report?  This seems to provide the data you need in a summary table (In account management > activity report) I believe this is an enterprise licence only feature.

And I think it's enabled via wrike labs

Suggest you provide this feature to business accounts as well.

Any update on how to do this with a business account? I'm trying to delete a couple of groups and it's difficult to do this because of "Group cannot be deleted if tasks and/or folders are shared with this group. Please unshare data first"

@Jimmy Hey! Currently, Access Reports are available on Enterprise subscription. To unshare the data, you'll need to manually check folders/tasks in your account.

This seems an odd workaround for me. I try to clean up our Wrike to make it more useful and when I wan't to delete a group obviously I wan't to remove it from every task/folder as well. Wrike is for productivity and this behaviour stops me right now - sorry. There should be a button like "Do you want to remove this group form every task - Yes/No". Topic solved. No I have to go through Dozens and more tasks or folders to find the right one. Not happy. Looking for a good solution :-) Thanks.

Hi Christoph Busch, thanks for posting! Unfortunately, at the moment, it's not possible to do that. Another option could be viewing a Space on the List View, then using a filter to list specific users, and mass edit to unassign tasks from them. This would still require a bit of manual work, going through different spaces, and users but mass edit makes it easier to remove multiple tasks at once from a user. Please let me know if this helps for now 🙋🏻‍♀️
