Message Prompt Prior to Confirming File Uploads
Our team is interested in taking advantage of and using Wrike to upload, store and share all our project files for visibility across offices and teams/users. However, we want to ensure that no files with PII data are uploaded. It would be useful to have a message prompt appear each time a file is uploaded with a message (that ideally could be customizable from the admin side) that says something like "Does your file contain _________? ". This can serve as a reminder for users when they are uploading files that only files without certain data are to be uploaded to the project.
Hi Olivia, this is currently not available but it's a good idea. The team have no plans to add criteria around custom messaging for file uploads currently.
This sounds like an internal policy you may need to deploy internally - like the best practice. As for settings, if these PII files are located in different sources to other files you use, you could choose some security settings in your Account Management to restrict where files are uploaded from - see image below.
I'd also recommend looking at the Enterprise feature of Wrike Lock, which adds an extra layer of data protection to the existing encryption within Wrike. Happy to answer any questions you have 👍
