[Status: Launched ๐] Hyperlinks in discussion
Hi,
I was wondering why there is the ability to add Hyperlinks in the description field of a Task/Folder/Project but not in the discussion area?
I know you can paste links in but would be useful to create shorter hyperlinks to docs/websites here as well especially if the discussions get quite long.

Hi Jesse Pepper, welcome to the Community! ๐
For now, this is not planned by the team. Unfortunately, I can't share such a list as we don't provide a public roadmap at the moment. We share all updates and new releases in the Weekly Release Notes, so you can start following or just checking the forum to be able to see what's new ๐

Adding a comment so that this may one day become a thing.ย
Lilian Cheng You'll be waiting awhile... we've been waiting over 4 years now ๐ฃ
Hi Lilian Cheng, Josh Merkle, thank you both for posting.ย
Weโd love to be able to implement all of the suggestions that our customers share with us, but we have to prioritize certain requests over others based on various factors and considerations at the time. Although this isnโt in the short-term roadmap, we will continue to pass on all of your feedback and insights here to our Product Team, and of course, we will let you know if anything changes.ย
Please be sure to add your upvote if you haven't yet๐๐ผ
Hi !ย
I vote for this feature.

Hi Olivier Werion, welcome to the Community, and thank you for adding your support here!
Up vote!ย Bigger questions is why this wasn't the default to begin with.ย This "feature" is available on every other platform I use like basecamp, slack, this forum, etc...ย I love wrike, but this is just doesn't make any sense to me?!?!
Upvote!ย What Richard Barrus said!
ย
The fact that for something to 'change' it has to have a 'Leaderboard' -style support is embarrassing.ย Do I dare ask... where does 60 votes rank on the 'Leaderboard' of Wrike improvements?ย Is it behind things with, say, 100+ votes?ย 1,000+ votes?
ย
It's embarrassing.ย It's been almost 4 years (!) since the original post!ย The Wrike team has acknowledged this is a deficiency, but essentially continues to state that "because this only has 60 votes and not (x), we're not going to do anything about."ย I mean, c'mon... think about that.ย That's laughable.ย ย
ย
There could be a slew of reasons this only has 60 votes...
ย
I mean, c'mon guys.ย Make it make sense, people!
@... it would be great to get at least a tiny bit more feedback onย why that's the dev team's recommendation.ย Is it because it's a bit technically difficult given the present architecture, or is it because they believe it might lead to wrike being used in ways that they feel it shouldn't be used?
Hey Jesse Pepper, this would be a very big change that requires a lot of resources, and for that reason, the team can't prioritize it at the moment. We understand this is disappointing for everyone who's been supporting this thread. We'll keep sending the team new feedback and vote count here and we'll let you know if there are any changes.ย
