Wrike Meetings

HI Yolanda, this functionality in Wrike is no longer available. We contacted everyone who was using it to let them know, however, we seem to miss that legacy Weekly Release post so thank you for pointing that out!

Was the tool meant to host virtual meetings in Wrike? Can you tell me why this Beta test didn't take?

Additionally, is there something similar that may be on the roadmap that would allow for users to conduct virtual meetings in Wrike?

@Yolanda with Wrike Meetings, we aimed to provide audio, video, and screen-sharing communication functionalities within Wrike. Now we need to focus on improving other areas. We plan to revisit the idea of audio/video calls in the future but there's nothing concrete on the roadmap right now.

Thanks for raising the slack integration too, the experience there will be updated soon.

What video calling software do you use at the moment?

We can work through some general best practices for meetings within Wrike. For example, this post from Lionel is an interesting approach for capturing meeting details in Wrike. I'm a fan of Vincent's approach to building meetings out into Projects within Wrike too.

Hi Wrike, I'm surprised that you still haven't updated the automated slack bot response from adding Wrike to Slack? It has been over a year. How many of us have wasted time trying to figure out how to get wrike meetings to work because of that automated response. This seems like a quality control issue and as a new user it's a bit concerning to find any i's not dotted, especially this early in the new user flow.

Hi Lisa I'm quite surprised to see today that this removed feature is still included in the Slack integration. I've just spent a whole lot of time trying to figure out how to get Wrike Meetings to work, just like Caneel Joyce did, only this is nearly 6 months after her original message.

To be clear, I'm not saying Wrike Meetings should be brought back but the Slack integration should at least be updated. According to the first answer in this thread the product has been deprecated for more than a year now.

Confirming that this language is STILL in the Slack integration. Hugely disappointing.
