External request forms

I am unsure where external request forms go, after an external user submits.

This would be dependant upon where you selected they should go. When creating the request form there is a menu in the top right hand corner where you created the external link.
Under that there is a "When User Submits Form" part where there are three questions that should be answered. The 2 is "Place Task into". Here you would select a folder or project. As soon as the request form is complete then the task created can be found in the folder that was specified in the request form creation.
