Hi everyone!
You may have noticed that Community badges have not been updated recently. Don't worry, we're still tracking your activity on the Community and, if you're eligible, you will receive your badge soon 😇
Let me tell you what's happening: The Community has grown a tremendous amount over the last year. This is fantastic and makes the Community, well, a great Community!
However, adding badges to accounts has now become extremely time-consuming for the Community Team because we apply all badges manually 😅
The good news is that now we're working with a developer to build an automatic way of adding badges. Once you reach eligibility, your badge will be applied automagically and this will reflect on your Community profile.
We plan to roll out this change early next month and everyone who's should have a badge will receive it then.

Hey guys, I inquired about my badge status today and then was pointed to this article. Any idea when this will be rolled out. Looks like you were planning on September originally...

Apparently there have been a couple of bugs, some black belts down graded etc but other than that I think there should be a public post declaring this later today.

You're right George, we're testing today, with all things going to plan, the system will be updated and in place going forward by the end of today.
I'll be sure to post a new post explaining this when testing is complete 🙌
