task : time tracking on time duration

Hello,

I don't see the task duration change according to the time tracking.

For example, if I plan a task for 2days starting 1st july and so finishing 2nd july, but I work on it 2 days and 4 hours. I would expect the end of the task to change for 3rd july noon.

Is it done so, and I don't see where. Or is it not done, and I need to manually reschedule my task?

This is also a question of following % of progression.Thank you in advance for your answer

Hi Frederic,

Your planned task of 2 days is exactly that, a plan. When you use the time tracking feature to work on the task, it is tracking actual and does not adjust the planned time that you had set to have the job completed by.  The set start and end dates are set so that you can track when a task should start and when it should end. If it goes past due then it is technically an overdue task.

The two are not connected as one plans the task and the other tracks the progress of the task.

Hy Ryan Nelson

may I know why is not possible to set up start and end time of a task in the calendar?

This is so frustrating for me; we can't manage our time clearly. All the calendars are based on start and time about a task. Why in wrike is so difficult to do it?

Thanks
