A workaround we're using to map a drop down selection to both a custom field and the description...

  1. Configure multiple blueprint tasks containing each drop down selection's scenario prepopulated within the task description.
  2. Under Request Form settings, map the question's answer to the custom field
  3. For each drop down option, use the conditional assignment feature to configure the "replace task" and select the matching blueprint task.

Upon submit, this will dynamically pull the correct blueprint task containing the content already in the description and then add the rest of the form's answers below that. The custom field will also be populated.

This obviously only works/practical with Drop Down and Importance questions that contain minimal options listed and when there's just a 1 critical question in the form that you need to map to both areas.
