[Status: Launched! ๐] Clickable links in description in External Request Forms
Hi there,
I have a request, I will explain the use case.ย Currently there is no way to hyperlink to a document inside a description in the forms.
I have a PDF form that I have customers read and sign... ideally I would use wrike for both.
Customers would log in to their loyalty portal and be prompted to "Read and sign the agreement", they click the link and it directs them to the Wrike external form I have created.
At the top it would say "Agreement" and in the descriptor it would say something like:
"Please review the Acknowledgment Letter [here].ย After reviewing it, fill out the form below.ย The fulfillment of this form will act as signing to the agreement between Company X and you."
The [here] portion would be a link to the policy.
The wrike portion would just be a simple checkbox "I agree", they then hit next and type their name/email and now we have a copy in Wrike that proves that they agreed to sign the agreement.
Thanks
Adding interest to this as well - we have the need to create intake forms that include links (particularly in the "thank you" message) that requesters can receive more information through.ย I really would like to see this prioritized by Wrike as an enhancement... note that my follow was the magic 60th number for this.ย
Noted, thanks for supporting this suggestion Greg Green ๐ And welcome to the forums! ๐

I can't believe Wrike does not account for WAI Guidelines in its forms. Links must be clickable and embedded. I really hope that this company makes accessibility a priority in the future.ย
Hi Angela Rountree, apologies for the delay here.ย
I understand your concern regarding accessibility in request forms and I want to assure you that accessibility is a priority for us here at Wrike. We are continuously working towards making our product accessible to all users. Our team has already made progress in this area by improving the standard UI components and implementing accessibility guidelines in accordance with WCAG 2.1 AA. However, I understand that there are still improvements to be made and we appreciate your patience as we continue to roll these out.
Thank you for your feedback, it's important to us and if there are any changes to the status of this suggestion we'll be sure to let you know here ๐

Upvoting this.ย Because it is so difficult to insert updates into tasks that are used for multiple projects, linking to an instruction document was going to be the way, I didn't need to update 38 projects multiple times, but could provide a level of service that would make these projects functional.ย This need seems so important to people that are continuously improving projects, that I'm assuming you must have another way to get these updated when multiple tasks need this?ย ย
It seems like that would be a real win for Wrike as well.ย Even though someone has bought the service, that doesn't mean that its lack of functionality for increasing buy in won't eventually cause an organization to ditch Wrike if it doesn't meet them where they are at.
