Timeline: Do everyone need Gantt-Bar for Folders?
I would like to confirm to everyone whether you need Gantt-Bar for Folders on Timeline View.
As everyone know, the role of Folder is defined as below in Help Portal.
Use Folders to categorize work. For example, Folders can be used to group Projects and Tasks by team, by client, by stage of work or however fits your team best. Folders can contain Subfolders, Projects, and Tasks.
Basically, Folders don't have start & end date or duration.
But if we use Timeline View, Folders are also drawn as Gantt-Bar based on Projects or Tasks that are included in the Folder.
I guess this function is causing the complications to Software and User Interface both.
From user point of view, I don't want to see such Gantt-Bar because it has no meaning and it let be messy Gantt-charts.
I need it only on Task table for grouping project or tasks.
And also from Software point of view, the program has to roll up schedules of all Projects or Tasks that are included in the Folders.
I think such function is unnecessary.
It is need only for Projects and Tasks.
We should divide the roles of Folders and Projects clearly.
How do you think?
If you agree to my thought, please vote to this thread or tell me your opinion.

It would be helpful to remove folders or at least be able to hid them. It would also be nice if folders worked more like users would expect folders to be and not as a slightly altered project.
