Love this! I usually set things up manually, but having it all templatized ย could be so valuable!ย 

In my case, I only get one intern per school semester, so I am not managing a large team. If my team grows, I'd definitely be interested in getting this set up :)ย

Hmm this is a really interesting concept! I really appreciate the thoughtfulness of how it's architected and the excellent demo!

Things I really like:

  • Ability to track team member performance and share certain aspects with the employee (this could eliminate a performance management tool Wrike users are currently paying for - nice!)
  • Ability to track OKRs
  • The lovely dashboard headers ๐Ÿ˜ (what a great idea!)

Things I'm not sure about for our own use case:

  • What's the onboarding experience look like for a new manager with zero Wrike experience? Might be a bit overwhelming for them to get used to using this system/process. Can a system admin set up their Space, assign them as the Owner and then leave the Space? Or does the new manager have to duplicate the Space and set it up themselves?
  • ย Using a task per meeting... I love that it'll show up on the calendar view, but how do you easily carry over any action items and agenda topics to the next meeting for tracking/ensuring things get done or talked about? Especially thinking about anyone who is on vacation, at a conference, on sick leave, etc. We use Google and discovered it's easiest to create ONE Google Doc with an ongoing agenda. That way we can link to Wrike tasks, copy/paste topics for the next week and have an ongoing record of topics discussed in case we need to go back and quickly reference a topic/when it was talked about. Also, several of us have a single Wrike task for weekly 1:1s and use the description as the agenda. Then we copy/paste "done" topics into the comments for historical reference and create tasks for action items that we can track.

I really like the idea of this set-up. Our department has several managers and sometimes we re-organize who reports to whom. It would be great to be able to have a space where all of the managers have access but we only see the 1-on-1 notes/meetings for those who report to us, but if we move a person to another manager, they could then get access to some of the goals/notes/etc.ย

1:1s seem like just a process to us at the moment.ย  It is talked about but not really fully looked into.ย  Mainly since we have regular chats and plenty of work to keep us busy.ย 

I would be good to see if we can force ourselves to use this process since we already use Wrike.ย  Maybe it will end up being an easy process that can be added into our work process.ย  Have to see.ย ย

Unfotunatly in our company no HR related data is allowed in Wrike as German laws are tricky. HR has an own tool. So no way for us.

This looks really powerful, but almost too much in 1 space. With this approach, it might build silos. With this manager space, I can manage my team, but other teams have limited visibility into my team's work.ย 

OKRs, SOPs, FAQs need to be visible across the entire company, not just my team. 1:1s need to be private.ย 

It's powerful, but might be too much.

It's probably better to have too much and let users subtract from it, than not enough and users need to add.ย

I like your approach to meetings by maintaining an ongoing document to reference pending items and keeping a living meeting agenda. Similarly, the My Follow-ups and Meetings dashboard provides visibility into any ongoing item; you can cross-tag pending items in the task description to create a follow-up agenda.

Regarding your questions, yes: an account administrator can share this space with any other user, assign space admin rights, and then leave the space, allowing the invited user to manage it without any extra steps or space cloning.
