Florian Gascho Appreciate the clarity.  My general feel would be while we've extended capabilities for space by team/department, I tend to feel that's a capability and not a mandate.  So I think my perspective, especially when creating solutions, would be to understand if a solution is better with A) account components and a single space, B) space components across multiple spaces, or C) perhaps (hopefully in the future) be modular components that can be injected/shared across existing spaces vs brand new entities.

From an OKR/Goal standpoint vs business segments, my initial answer to your question is that Custom Item Types are the way I'd start with extensibility in mind.  With CITs, it honestly doesn't matter to me whether everyone is in 10 spaces, 2 spaces, or even 1 space.  Why?  Custom Item Types gives the ability to create an account *or* space CIT and then use/find/report/scan for that entity across all data in Wrike (horizontally *or* vertically if that makes sense).  And this is very important for Objectives, Key Results, Goals because these can exist "horizontally" across business segments like you suggest, or "vertically" within a specific segment / department / team / etc.  Now there's certainly other tips and tricks, but this is far and away where I'd start (and also one of the backbone elements in this particular solution).

As a side, our Product Team is also actively working on a lot of really power features to help "break apart" a single space into many spaces, or "combining" multiple spaces into a single space.  Marisol Granados just led our own team through an multi-step effort to combine three spaces into one so we understand the reluctance, but can also speak to the composure we have on the other side!  The really cool thing is some new governance-related features have just been released,... and some additionals ones are coming very soon that will make the journey even easier when you're ready to start!  But I'm steering off-topic...Hope this helps!

Matt Allen I had not thought of making CITs account-wide to extend horizontally or vertically. Excellent! I'm excited about the developments for space management. Thanks!

Matt Allen thank you!  So could I get it configured without the datahub component and added to our account as a new space?

Lisa Gomes. You bet.  We are trying to make these more advanced solutions easier to install so we've added them to the existing gallery for the time being (more exciting news for advanced solutions very soon).  So in the interim you can install it without datahub right here:  https://www.wrike.com/workspace.htm#/solutions-gallery/template/181
