Bring Back List View
Removing the list view from your product was an absolutely terrible decision. It’s hard to understand how such a widely used and functional feature was taken away without considering the impact on users who rely on it daily. The table view is a poor substitute — it’s clunky, visually unappealing, and lacks the clarity and efficiency that made the list view so useful.
Not only is the table view harder to navigate, but it also slows down workflow significantly. It feels like the change was made without any real-world user testing or feedback. As a long-time user of this product, I’m extremely disappointed and frankly frustrated. This was a core feature that made the platform usable — now, it's a struggle to get through even basic tasks.
Please bring back the list view. This change has severely impacted usability and is a huge step backward.
I agree. I have used the platform for almost three years, and my entire team is upset about the change. It takes so many more "clicks" to complete basic functions. Plus, the visual is very hard to read. With the List view, the project could be evaluated at a glance to know the status of each task. I understand the old List view was on an old version/system. Recreate it on the new system.
yes! I just wrote another post about this! I hope they bring back the list view because the table view is awful to use.
Table view is clunky and hard to read. Please bring back list view. Like user stated above it's easier to see projects at a glance and improves productivity. We only have two teams who use Wrike. The rest of the company is on Monday.com. I've seen Monday and while more basic, everyone who uses it raves about it.
I agree completely. Removing the list view has really impacted our team. We can no longer filter within the Work In Progress folder like we used to. We rely on CIT for both projects and tasks, but now with this new table view, I can only add tasks and not projects. The table layout feels clunky and is difficult for some team members to read. We have been using Wrike for three years, and this change has been a huge step backward. It would have made more sense to keep the list view along with the new table view.

I'm a Wrike super user in my company and we've used it for many years. My daily workflow and actual enjoyment of using wrike is now a daily aggravation where I can't stop grumbling each morning as I work through all my project management process, and hating the forced excel-looking view. It wasn't just a bad decision, it was a full derailment of the ease, appealing aesthetics, and overall flow of using the product. Bring List View Back. Please.
Hi Sean Bell, thanks a lot for sharing your honest feedback. We really appreciate it.
Can you please share a bit more detail on your experience - is it just the look of the Table view that doesn't work for you? We know change may take time to adapt to, and I'll be happy to give your tips for making the view work for you (as it's so much more powerful than List view was).

Hi, Lisa,
Table view is great everywhere except when I dive into each specific project - that is where List View shined. The rigidity and excel format of a table when working on specific projects is more constricting and visibly less appealing. It feels constrained and lacks the ease of click/hold/drag to move tasks that List View was perfect for doing. The visual clarity to focus within a project without all the grids and columns of data was also a big benefit in List view. When I manage the hundreds of projects, Table View is the winning way to go, but when I need to focus on the nuances of each single project, I want the visual simplicity and clarity free from of the noise from a table/excel view, in favor of a free-flow,ease of flow, focused no rigidity of columns/tables/data. Sometimes function over form isn't the best solution. Sometimes form is necessary.
Having used table view since we were forced to implement it due to the list view being forcibly removed, I entirely agree that it is significantly worse and has detrimentally affected workflow and productivity of both me and my team. It feels like the product is continuously being made more difficult to use and navigate.
I am struggling with the new update as well. I echo the pain everyone has outlined above - please bring back list view.
Sean Bell Thanks a lot for the detailed description of your use case!
Mona Ackerman Julie Alsayed Appreciate your feedback, I'll be sharing it with the responsible Product team. Thank you!
