Formula for Year to Date comparisons for this year and last year

Hello! I've been asked by my boss to create an Analyze report with year-over-year comparisons in it. I've had no issue getting indicators set up for weeks, months, and quarters.

What I am having issues with is setting up an indication that shows YTD information compared to the same time period last year.

I can do YTD this year compared to all of last year, but I can't seem to figure out a formula to get YTD last year. Maybe the YTDSUM formula can be used? or a combination of DAYDIFF, NOW, and something else?

Any help to figure this out would be much appreciated!
