n8n First Step

Hi. 

I'm using the Wrike API with n8n to improve Wrike's interoperability with our solutions. I've managed to connect and retrieve tasks, but I'm having trouble with webhooks: I can't configure receiving notifications for newly created tasks. I'm new to both n8n and webhooks. Thank you for your help.

Hi ^^
I successfully set up the integration! Here are the two key points that had me stuck:

  1. Webhook registration: The webhook needed to be created outside the main workflow (not inside as I initially thought)
  2. Wrike → n8n communication: I used ngrok to expose my local n8n instance with a public URL

Final configuration:

  • A separate HTTP Request node to register the webhook with Wrike
  • This node points to the ngrok URL which redirects to my n8n webhook
  • The connection to Wrike events is configured in this registration node
