I don't need notifications for self-assignment
I'm glad that Wrike sends notifications when someone else assigns me to a task or project, but notifications that I've assigned myself to a task or project only serve to clutter my stream of notifications. I would like to be able to opt out of being notified of my own actions in Wrike. This is especially annoying in the Wrike app for Microsoft Teams, which is a great notification source except for all of the messages about tasks I assign to myself.
Welcome to the Wrike Community, Daniel Fennelly! 🎉
By design, the system shouldn't send notifications when you assign tasks to yourself manually, either in the main platform or through the Microsoft Teams integration. However, if you are still receiving such notifications, it may be due to automation rules or specific workflows that treat these assignments differently.
If this continues to be an issue, I recommend reviewing your automation settings or reaching out to our Support team for assistance. 👍🏽
