Allow custom fields to show in public snapshots

Hello! I discovered this week that when I export a public snapshot of a given view I am not able to export its custom fields. So at present my public snapshot is missing some key details for my team. I recommend this as feature update for all.

Have you tried using the Public Link feature in Table View?
 
I've attached a couple of screenshots to demonstrate. In the first screenshot, you'll notice a folder containing custom fields -  Budget and Other Notes. By clicking on the Public Link option, you can copy and share the URL with your team or external members. In the second screenshot, you'll see that the custom fields are retained. I hope this helps with your use case! Thanks.

Thanks Rohan V! Our team is wanted the Gantt view (most of them prefer that visual) - any suggestions there?

Hi Christine Smith, thank you for reaching out. At the moment, there are no further updates regarding the availability of custom fields in Gantt chart snapshots.
 
As a workaround, you can export the Gantt chart to PDF (screenshot below), which will include the custom fields. However, I understand this may not be an ideal solution. If there are any further improvements, we will be sure to post an update here 👍
