Make iPad/Mobile Version of Wrike App Available for macOS
Hello, Wrike Community!
I would like to suggest making the native iPad/mobile version of the Wrike App available for macOS users as well.
Currently, I am using the available macOS version of Wrike app, which is based on the Electron Framework. However, Electron is known for consuming more resources like memory and processing, and it's basically a web browser loading Wrike web app. I believe the iPad app you created is so good, that with a few tweaks it could offer a satisfying and efficient user experience on macOS too.
I would like to know if there are any plans to make the iPad version of Wrike available on macOS or if this could be considered for future updates. I believe that many users, like myself, would greatly benefit from this.
Thanks
Hey Neyl !!
Thank you for your suggestion and detailed feedback! We appreciate your enthusiasm for improving the Wrike experience on macOS.
Currently, our focus is on balancing between enhancements on both the apps. Although there are no plans to make the iPad version available on macOS, we are committed to take your feedback to the relevant team. While we recognize the strengths of the native iPad app, the macOS app has similar capabilities as the web app although with higher resource consumption. Our team is actively working on these scenarios to ensure a smooth and efficient user experience.
I will share your feedback with our development team. Your input is invaluable, and we will keep you updated on any progress or changes regarding this suggestion.
In the meantime, ensure you have the latest version of the Wrike app on your devices to enjoy all the new features and improvements we’ve recently launched. Your continuous support and feedback help us make Wrike better for everyone.
