Thank you, Lisa! Last night I had a heck of a time trying to attach images to a task from my Wrike mobile app. I admit I don't use the mobile app much -- I am usually using the browser-based version and I love it! -- but I was working after hours and thought I would add some photos to a meeting task for the following morning. Doing so took much longer than expected and wasn't very intuitive. I finally succeeded, but I'm still not sure how I did it. Do others who use the mobile app regularly have a quick and easy way of doing this?

Michelle I was able to go to a task or project on the mobile app, select the "files" tab at the top of the screen, then click the green paper clip button on the bottom right and select a file from my phone. This method has worked for me in the past. I am on Android though, not sure if you're on an iPhone and maybe it's different. Also, hi!

Hi Michelle! Thanks for reaching out! I had a couple of questions on your experience. Are you using the Android or iOS app? Are you attaching the images to the task or in the comment? Ali's comment above talks about the steps that you can follow for attaching images to the task. Thanks Ali!
When a user clicks on the "attach file" icon (the paper clip), they are directed towards their device's system storage. The folder structure and storage is custom to your device. Was it a time-taking process after clicking the "attach" icon or before? If it's the former, then I'm afraid there isn't much that we can help from the app side.

Hi Ali Moses (miss you)! Hi Arpit Shekhar! I'm on an iPhone 13 running iOS 17.5.1. At first I tried to attach the images to the task info text but didn't see the "insert image" icon like I see in the browser app -- that would have been my preferred option. Instead, I attached the images in the comments using the paperclip icon to select images from my phone's photo app, but the selection method was unintuitive and the method of selecting each image by adding a green dot in the corner (which was how I thought I would be adding them for upload) actually uploaded each image twice, and I had to delete the duplicates from my task.ย

Great to see that we now have a Forum for the Mobile App as well.

Michelle, having a separate section on mobile was done to ensure less clutter on a smaller screen as compared to the web app. If you attached the images via comments, then you will be able to see the uploaded images on the "Files" tab as well as the comments section. Deleting the comment with the image, will only delete the comment but the image will still be available for you to see in the Files Tab. To completely remove the image, you can go to the Files section and delete it from there. I can understand the issue with duplicate images but the behavior of selection of images (via the green dot in the corner) is on the iOS device rather than the app side.
