Select Tasks based on Project field value

Greetings,

       In my department I have two project managers over a large quantity of projects each. I am creating a dashboard for each of them and want to create a widget that shows tasks without dates and a widget for overdue tasks for their projects. I differentiate their projects using a custom project-level field. Is it possible to extract all the tasks from projects that meet certain criteria?

Hi Scott Norris, thank you for sharing your questions with us.

It is possible to create widgets where you can display tasks without dates (backlogged tasks) and also overdue tasks. You need to apply the filters: Task type: Backlogged; and Due Date: Overdue.

Regarding your question about filtering tasks depending on project parameters, I'm afraid this is not possible. In this case it would be necessary to add the custom field you're using for your projects to the tasks, along with the relevant values so you can filter your tasks by these custom field values.

Rohan V is there a product suggestion thread or anything we can upvote here - this is also a huge barrier to effective management for us. We have a team of ~20 PMs across multiple teams and divisions supporting various projects. It's nearly impossible for me to build a dashboard that lets me effectively monitor for global risks (unassigned tasks, things overdue) in any rational fashion. If I could just filter by either tasks within X Custom Project Item Type and/or within projects with Y Custom Field Value (their named Portfolio Manager or Executive Sponsor) it would supercharge our ability to leverage Wrike.
