Automation when external responder replies to a wrike email
We're aiming to streamline our task management process. Ideally, when an external requester emails a response, we'd like the task's status to automatically update and have it moved to a designated folder. Although the assignee receives notifications for responses, we want to reduce individual notifications to maintain a more focused workspace. Our coordinators handle requests for a large team daily, ensuring the space stays organized by filing completed tasks promptly. However, if a requester sends a follow-up email days or weeks later, not all coordinators may notice, especially if the original assignee is absent.
While we could add more followers to tasks, this adds complexity to our workflow and increases notifications. Instead, we're looking for a seamless solution where task statuses and locations adapt when there's an email response, ensuring all coordinators stay informed without overwhelming individual inboxes.
I second this. We have also been struggling with a similar situation. Currently, our work around is a report that lists all tasks with external reviews in progress by their last modified date. This is how we make sure no comments fly under the radar, but it is a clunky fix. Being able to change a task's status when an external reviewer makes a comment would be a much more streamlined option and keep our assignees from missing anything.
