Getting a Custom Memo field

We need the ability to see the entirety of the text field, no just a one-liner.  Is there a way to expand it (like in SharePoint, MS Access)?  This should be a simple format to supply.  Or is there a way to create template weekly update tasks?

Hello Scott Faire-Cooper, welcome to the Community 👋🏻

I'm assuming you're working on Table View? If yes, you can then change the display density to Full View. That will allow you to view four lines instead of one.

To change the view, please click on the three-dot menu in the upper right-hand corner of the table and select "Full View" from the list.

Please let me know if this helps 🙋🏻‍♀️

No I was not referring to a table view.  I was referring to a custom field (Text). Though you can add endless data into the field, it only displays a single line.  You have to click it to read the field.  It should auto-expand to display the entirety of the data in the field.  If that is not something that can be performed, what about a new custom field type "memo".  In every other application a memo field is a multiline field (usually 6 - 8 lines) and is displayed in full.
