Board View SubTasks On Mobile

The new board view works great by showing subtasks for me, however I can use it on mobile app.

The classic board view, works if I choose show subtasks, but I also can't see this on the mobile app.

Is there a way to force on mobile by default to avoid the app (without having to click on view desktop site) or somehow get this working on mobile that I am missing?

Thanks,

Hi Peter Rayman, welcome to the Community! Thank you for sharing your use case with us. Do I understand correctly that you would like to access the Board View on your mobile device?

Would you please confirm if the operating system of your device is Android or iOS? And do I get it right that what you'd like to achieve is to see your subtasks on your device?

Looking forward to hearing back from you! Also, I'd like to mention that you can check our New to Community forum to discover all the resources you can find in our Community 🙂

There is a Board (Classic) and a Board (new) tab on the website. The Board (new) is great! However, I can't access it via mobile because it forces me to download the mobile app, which I can't seem to access the Board (new) on the app. Our company does not allow us to use the "View Desktop Site" on the browser.

The alternative option is I can use the Board (classic) with filters, but if I create that permalink with the filters I don't see that in the app. It is tedious to apply the filters every time I open the app.

Hi Peter Rayman! The Board view available on our Android app is a native application and it's not the same as Board view/New Board view on the desktop or browser version.

I am having the same issue.  Lisa am i understanding correctly that the board view on the mobile app is different than the board view on desktop version?  I have a board view set up perfectly on the desktop app, but when i try to access it on the mobile app, it functions differently.  Any updates coming for this?

Hi Kyle,

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your feedback. To better understand the issue, could you clarify what you mean by "functions differently" on the mobile app? We understand when you say that the experience is different, but we want to know more on how can we address this. Are there specific actions or features in the board view that seem to be missing compared to the desktop version?

We want to make sure we fully capture your experience, and I’ll be happy to pass this along to our mobile team. Additionally, we’re always working on updates to improve the mobile experience, so your insights are really valuable in helping us prioritize enhancements.

Looking forward to hearing more details from you!

See attached screen shots for what I am referring to.

Pic #1 is from the desktop version.

Pic #2 is from the mobile app.

Arpit Shekhar, as you can see, the mobile app shows differently.  It has a list of projects at the top that i can scroll through, but it doesn't put them in the correct categories as its supposed to.

Hey Kyle,

Thank you for sharing your experience! 🎉 I'm excited to announce that we've released an improved Board View experience for iOS today! This update is designed to bring more consistency between the desktop and mobile versions of Wrike, so you can now expect a seamless experience across both platforms. And we are working towards having this update on Android shortly in a few more days.

With this new update, mobile users will now see the same items in Board View as they’ve set on desktop. One feature to note: on desktop, there’s an option (accessible via the ellipsis/three dots) to enable “Tasks from subfolders”. This setting will now be reflected in the mobile app, so tasks are displayed consistently whether you’re using desktop or mobile.

I hope this update improves your mobile experience! Be sure to join and 'follow' the Wrike for Mobile Community if you haven’t already—we’ll be announcing more exciting mobile updates soon.

Thanks again for your feedback! Hope this comes as good news to Peter as well!
