Change task to custom item

While you can currently create work as a custom item there's no way to modify or convert an existing task to a custom item type. This is a extremely important feature for companies who are making use of the custom item types.

I am looking for a way to modify existing tasks by converting an existing task into a custom item type. We use four different types of custom items that we use inside of Wrike. I see from the developer documentation that we can POST a custom item type (/custom_item_types/{custom_item_typeId}/instantiate), but I can't seem to find any documentation on changing existing tasks to custom item types (/tasks/{taskId}).

I submitted my request directly to support and they recommended that I add it as a request to be added to the API as the custom item type is a relatively new feature and was not included with version 4 when it was released.

Our company also interested in this API
