Progress for Custom Item Type Projects

Progress tracking for projects should be standard. The custom item type is a great feature and would greatly benefit with the addition of this feature.

Hi @... No, it's like i can't turn on the track progress option anywhere for my regular projects or custom item type projects in lightspeed. I can add that column, but it's blank.

Hi Whitney Norton We do have progress turned on custom item projects now! 

Thanks Rohan V! I connected with Support as you suggested and they were indeed able to help out. BUT - I think there's still opportunity here for Wrike's product team.

First - the solve! 

You need to have Progress enabled within the custom item type. If it's hidden as a field, it won't work in the item type. 

HOWEVER! I still think there's some room for improvement here. Since Progress as a function works in some cases but not others, I don't necessarily want to have it shown in the card for the item, but I DO want to enable it for the table view. That way I can limit who sees this data that is sometimes super helpful, and sometimes misleading.
