๐Ÿ’š Releases - Clickable Links in Request Forms and Custom Item Types in Wrike Analyze (02/13/2023)

Feature Updates

  • Request Forms - Clickable Links in Questions and Helper Text ๐Ÿ”ฅ
A very exciting and requested update - links that you add to the form description, questions, and description of questions are now clickable ๐Ÿฅณ Find out more in this Community post.
  • Custom Item Types - Item Type Supported in Advanced Reporting and BI (Wrike Analyze) ๐Ÿ“Š
From now on, you can see the type of custom items in analytical dashboards. The fields are called Project Item Type and Task Item Type. You can view the types of items and use this field for filtering.
When you open work item view of projects in an area of the workspace where you can't see its subitems (e.g. open a project from Inbox or open it in overlay), there's a new Go to full details button that opens the project in its original location.
Additionally, there is a counter above the button that displays the number of direct subitems.
ย ย
This addition corresponds to a new section of Work Item View for project-type custom items called Subitems and can be hidden in the custom item type editor.ย
ย
  • New Board View - Add Subitems Option Available in Right-Click Menu ๐Ÿ“Œ
You can now add subitems to tasks on the New Board view by right-clicking on a task card and selecting Add subitem.
Custom items' icons are now visible in the New Table view right next to the item's name.
  • Spaces - Share Spaces Button Added
We added a Share button to the space root page, so it now looks the same as in projects and folders. When you click the button you are redirected to the General tab of space settings (from where you can invite more people to the space).

Work Item Viewย - New Way to Open Project Details

We love this feature, in matter of fact we were gonna ask for it but I first wanted to make sure I didn't overlook anything myself as it seemed as such a basic functionality

Ok, making links clickable in forms is such a huge improvement. And I agree with the Community post, I hope hyperlinking is coming next.

Dumb question, but are clickable links a future feature or something that's implemented now because I'm not seeing how to implement it on a form... sorry, I might be missing it :(

Hello, I am seeing the new 'Subitems' section in the project-type custom item editor. I edited one of my project-type custom items to include subitems, but I'm not seeing subitems in any projects built from that work-item. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

I see that custom items' icons are now visible in the New Table view, yet we still don't have Time Spent field. This view is useless to me unless we have all of the data that is available in the current table view, especially something as fundamental as Time Spent.

Thanks a lot for your feedback, folks! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Paul Long This feature is available for admins with the right to create request forms. If you go to the Account Management section and open Request forms, you can edit an existing form or create a new one, you can add links in questions or helper text, and once published, they will be clickable for anyone submitting this form. Does this help?ย

Sam Penwell I've asked our Support team to look into this for you ๐Ÿ‘

User error. I was missing the "http://" when I wrote out the link... it's been a while since I had to add that and looking back, I see that your example has it perfectly. Sorry about that :(
