' All the necessary task dependencies have been completed, so you can start working on it right away.'
Anyone know how to get rid of this message? It is confusing and annoying.

Folllowing List for Post: automated wrike bot message
[this list is visible for admins and agents only]
Hi Rachel, these notifications are sent only when a task assigned to you is in a dependency chain and its immediate predecessors are completed. A notification is only sent when the dependency between tasks is finish-to-start and the next task is in "active". Check out this setting to change Inbox notifications. Any questions, I'm here to help 👍
Hey Stephen - I appreciate your feedback but if Wrike chooses to create an automated message that affects all users, please give users a dead simple way to opt out of it (even a pop up/a link next to the Wrike Bot message that says 'Or click here to opt out') Or event better, a button in the user's profile that simply reads 'Turn Wrike Bot Off'. The Product Reminders menu is not necessarily straight forward and is in itself confusing as to what exactly you are opting out of/into.
On a related topic, please advise how to turn off 'Apply the rules of date alignment to the affected tasks?' pop up. The 'GO TO HELP' link provided is not helpful. I just want to have a button that turns it off permanently.
Thank you.
Annie
I agree with Annie and so does everyone on my team using Wrike. There should be an option to say "Don't ask me again" or something similar for the Apply the rules of date alignment message.
Yes - I agree. I think an 'don't show this message' again or similar is what is required for any Wrike bot message that is programmed to pop up once a certain set of criteria are met. We all manage our projects differently in Wrike and these automatic messages can be more of a hindrance than a help. Especially when you are trying to bed in a team to use the software - it can be confusing and off putting for new recruits.
I agree as well - please add this feature asap - it's difficult to concentrate with the pop up showing up at random times.
Hi all, thanks for insight and feedback on this. I've moved the post to the Product Feedback section so it will receive more votes from members. Please make sure to vote on the original post from Rachel if you haven't already 🙌
Hi All,
Did we figure out a way to turn this specific inbox notification off?
' All the necessary task dependencies have been completed, so you can start working on it right away.'
Thanks,
Riley
Hi Riley O'Rourke, welcome to the Community, and thank you for posting. It's currently not possible to turn off the bot notifications, but I'm passing on your feedback to our team👍🏼
Cansu,
We are seeing that message on the activity stream also and not only as an inbox notification. To add to our confusion we use Wrike in multiple languages, the majority of our users have English by default, but some of our other users have Japanese and the message is defaulting to Japanese. I don't even know where to change that setting since these is an automatic Wrike Bot.
Has Wrike figured out a way to configure of turn off this notification?
Best
Elisheva
Hello Elisheva Diaz, welcome to the Community! Thank you for your comment, I'm afraid that it's not possible to turn off these notifications. I've shared the details about your case with our Product Team and we will keep you informed in case there are any changes 👍
Also, I've opened a ticket with our Support Team so they can investigate the behavior you are describing about the different languages and provide you with an accurate reply. You will be contacted shortly.
Also, I'd like to mention that you can check our New to Community forum to discover all the resources you can find in our Community 🙂

Hi, I am having the same issue with one og¡f the new automation bots that says "Due date is approaching. Please give an update or change the dates". It is very disturbing having this popping up 50 times a day because we have several tasks at once... PLease, how can we stop this messages to the whole account? Thanks!
Hey Clara Nascimento Silva! Alina from Automation here. Seems like you are referencing an automation rule as opposed to the message that pops up about dependencies (which is not Automation). I can help you with the rule!
Simply travel to Space settings > Automation, find a rule "When due date is approaching or overdue > comment or mention" and turn it off by clicking on the toggle button in the Automation view. However, I would suggest consulting with the rule creator first to align on disabling this process to ensure that everyone is on the same page :) To understand who created the rule, find the "Created by" column in the same Automation view in space settings.
Another option however would be to customize the rule by adding a specific location where it should work or adding some conditions to ensure that it works for the most critical projects or tasks.
Please note that to manage the space automation rules, you need to be an admin of this space.
Hope this helps!

Hi Alina,
Thanks for answering! The problem is that I have already checked and we dont have any rule that says "When due date is approaching or overdue > comment or mention" . I am the one responsible for doing the automations and it does not exist o the list... What els could it be? It is happeing in all spaces...
Thanks!
Clara Nascimento Silva I see several options:
Additionally, please check if this rule exists on the account custom item type (if you utilize them). For that, click on your profile > Settings (account settings) > Custom item types > [select suspected custom item type] > Manage automation rules. Please note that to be able to access these views, you need to be an Account admin.
