Time log view - default period
Hi,
There's one thing I have to change EVERY time I click it - Time log view. Wrike seems to forget that I like to look at more than just 'this week' s time logs. It it's Monday or Tuesday, there's barely anything there because we're a small startup.
I'd Wrike to remember the period I had last time I was in Time log view (or allow me to set a default).
It's really frustrating to have to change it every time and feel like both options could offered.
Thanks!
Hi Luke, as you know Timelog View shows the current week's data as the default view. I can see why being able to set your own default time period would be helpful, or at least having the option so thanks for sharing here.
Hello -- any chance that the TimeLog view default could be set at NO filters, thus showing the entire timelog unless you wanted to filter on a specific time frame?
Hi Nancy Lawrence, apologies for the delay in response here!
If you click on the Filters menu in the Timelog View, you can choose to show timelog entries from any date by clicking on "Date". This will show you the entire timelog for that project/folder.
Hope this helps! If you have any other questions, let me know.
I share the requests here. I never want to just see this week but must adjust the filter each and every time I click TimeLog. The default filter isn't helpful to me. Feels like an easy feature to embed in a user's profile for default filter or method for building saved filters. Thanks for reading.
Welcome to the Community, Josh Houghton! 🙂
Thank you for sharing your feedback, I'll pass it on to our Product team!

Hi, any updates here? You need more than 3 years to just enable a default filter setting to "no filter" for the timelog??? Awesome project management ;)
Thanks
Martin
Hi Martin Birk, thank you for reaching out! Our team has long-term plans to introduce Custom views functionality for all Wrike Views. For now, they are only available for List, Board, Gantt Chart, and Table views. Custom Views allow you to create and save certain filters and sorting for a particular view. I'll let you know when I have news 🙂
