Automating Overdue Task Report with Email Distribution

Hello,

We would like to see Overdue Task Report functionality where these criteria can be met:

  • Report can be set up to scan for selected Projects and Tasks on a scheduled basis
  • The schedule can be set up as a recurrent activity, such as to run every Monday at 9:30 a.m.
  • The report can generate an Excel file automatically
  • The generated report will be emailed to a defined distribution list of Wrike users based on the recurrent schedule.

Hi Myra, thanks for the detail of this request, it really helps our team understand the need for this type of feature. There is an existing feedback post from Alison called Project Due Dates Report. It would be great for you to comment your suggestions and vote there also to keep all feedback in the one post for reference. Thanks again!
 
For your first point, scheduling recurrent activity, this is possible in Reports by subscribing to a Report you've created. However, this doesn't automatically generate an Excel download so thanks for sharing that suggestion. 
 
As for the generated email to anyone subscribed to the report, there is an email notification you can choose to receive when your scheduled report is available. You can check your email preferences here and there's more information about all email notifications here.
