Drag and drop for tasks fails
Hi,
I created some recurring taks in a subtask (this is the way we organize our projects).
First Thing: Why are the recurring tasks listed in the top level and not as subtasks like the original one?
Second: When I try to drag and drop these recurring tasks into the other tasks, so they are listed as subtasks, that doesn't work. I could drag&drop the first one, but the others do not work. Sometimes the page reloads and sometimes just nothing happens.
What can I do?
Hi Simone, your drag and drop options should be working. I think it will be quicker for our Support team to troubleshoot this with you so I have raised a ticket and you'll receive a confirmation of this by email soon. Thanks for posting!
hi Stephen, im having a similar issue. i was able to relocate the tasks earlier by holding the mouse and drag and dropping - but now the function is not working
This instruction isn't working as it was?
Move a Folder or Project
Your Folder or Project is now a Subfolder or Subproject of the Folder or Project which you moved it to.
@Paddy I see that our Support Team already reached out about this, but wanted to follow up here as well. If you're dragging and dropping within the List View, the first thing to check is that you're sorting by priority (that's the only order that supports drag and drop). Moving a Folder/Project via drag and drop should work as well - if you could let me know if the problem is happening when in incognito mode we can go from there.
We have been having this problem sporadically. However, we realized that you cannot use this feature within your pinned menu. Ensure that you are not within a pinned menu and go through the regular folder hierarchy and the drag drop feature should work.
