[Status: Backburner ⌛️] Mapping Form Field answers/responses to custom fields at task level

A recent feature was released that enabled mapping of form answers to custom fields at the project level when a request is submitted. However, the mapping only occurs at the project level custom fields and not at the task level custom fields. It would be nice if those form answers could be mapped to the custom fields at the task level for more in depth reporting. Currently, I have to manually go fill in all custom fields at each task level to match what is at the project level.

Hello, we also need this feature! We are creating projects through request forms and need exactly what Jennifer was requesting back in 2017 (https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115002595345-Mapping-Request-Form-Dates-to-Project-Template-Milestones). The ability for the request form dates to align to a milestone date rather than the start or end date of the project would be incredibly helpful for our team! Otherwise, we are manually changing dates on every project which is not feasible long term. Thank you!

Any updates on this request from nearly 6 years ago? Our team needs this. Right now we have instructions for each project assignee to drag and drop specific custom fields across all of the tasks in a project but this is a manual effort that often gets missed. We use custom item type tasks for much of our reporting and need the custom fields attached to those CITs for filtering. 

Since this basic functionality seems to be missing has anyone found a workaround through an automation or other method?
