Project Overview
I have a standard project with 4 phases: Kickoff, Enrichment, Validation, and Pilot.
I would like to see a board with each of these phases as the columns - so I can see how many projects (not tasks) are in each phase.
Is there a way to customize the board to these phases? Any alternate suggestion to get this visual?
Hi Mike! The first thing that comes to mind is: those phases sound like they're Subprojects, but the items under them are tasks. If they are tasks, I recommend creating a Custom Dashboard Widget for each phase to track the tasks inside them.
That said, I now think you may be leaning in a completely different direction than what I've mentioned :) I think something that could help track how many Projects are at a certain stage is:
Is this what you were looking for?
Are you using workflows for your four phases? If so, I think you could simple create a dashboard widget, select to include tasks for that specific project, and then filter by that workflow step. You could then repeat for all four phases and you're done.
My two cents... Happy to share screenshots if that sounds like the right direction but you get stuck.
@Nathan Lee Jones That was my thinking as well. The new "boards" function is great for that.
