I would like to be able to export Wrike's markup and annotation for any file, in addition to videos. I've copied a separate request I made:

Our organization would like to use Wrike to handle our reviews. In short, our team reviews PDFs, and those PDFs (with reviewer comments) need to be archived after our work is finished in order to meet some of our accreditations.

I can't seem to find any way to archive Wrike's annotation and markup outside of Wrike. We could easily just keep the annotated PDFs in Wrike, but our accreditations require us to have the reviewed PDFs available indefinitely, so I would want to archive them on our own servers.

Chiming in here on also doing this for PDFs. The previous thread for requesting comments be exportable generally has been closed, but the need is still very high. I work with a lot of external vendors who just don't use Wrike, as well as execs in different units who aren't going to sit down and learn an entirely new system just to work on a couple of projects a year (nor should they be expected to).

Not being able to export the comments and have that shareable to non-Wrike users has made Wrike redundant for us on several projects since the options are either do it in Wrike and then repeat all that work in Adobe (with a high likelihood of human error) or just skip the Wrike step all together. We've chosen to go the latter route because it saves time and makes more sense for our workflows. Never thought I'd see Wrike fight against us wanting to use their platform as they have in this thread, but this is a change that's seriously needed and I hope the team reconsiders.

Hey everyone, apologies for the delay in response here.

In regards to PDF's, it's possible to export this file with comments and open it outside of Wrike. These files can be opened in Google Chrome, or Preview, or similar apps, and comments will be visible by clicking the highlighted area where the comment was.

In regards to videos, there are currently no plans to be able to export comments from videos in Wrike. If anything changes, I'll be sure to let you know.

The only way to export comments on a word document is by downloading it with comments as a PDF. It will not save as a word doc with the comments. Writers want word docs with comments. PLEASE consider providing this option
