Not all assigned tasks showing under "my work"

 There are multiple tasks that have been both shared with me and assigned to me that do not appear under "my work" so I miss them. Why is this happening and how do I fix it?

Additionally, when my coworker pulls a dashboard she isn't seeing all of my assigned tasks either.

Hi Sarah! Welcome and thanks a lot for posting your question to the Community. :)

Once you're assigned to a task it automatically appears in one of the corresponding date sections in your My Work tab. Additionally, a little star is shown in the top-right of the Task View, as shown here, which means that task is pinned to My Work. In order to remove it from My Work you can click on that "star" button and unpin the task. May I kindly ask you to take a look at the task in question and see if it's pinned to My Work? If it's not, feel free to add it and the task should remain in My Work until you unpin it again.
 
Please let me know if that was the case.
 
As for the second question about your colleague pulling your tasks to the Dashboard, it might be that tasks are not shared with her. Could you please make sure they're shared and if it's not the case I'll be happy to open up a support ticket for further troubleshooting.

Serge, How to you unpin in bulk? I had a project with hundreds of tasks where every task was assigned to me (because I was the PM and it was incorrectly assigned). I mass unassigned them but because they are all starred they are still all showing in my work making it almost impossible to see my actual tasks.

Hey Michael. Thank you for bringing your question here!

When you're assigned to some tasks - they instantly get to the My Work section. However, if you don't move them inside the section (as in, drag-and-drop between Today, Next Week, etc.), they will be automatically unpinned from My Work once you're unassigned. If some tasks still appear in your My Work section, it looks like you either manually pinned them or moved them within the section. In this case, you can use mass actions within the My Work to unpin the tasks in bulk:
