Rotate Attachments

Hi Wade, nice to hear from you :)

There's no way to rotate an image once it's in Wrike, but that does sound like a really great product feedback suggestion. I'm moving your thread to our Product Feedback section so other users can upvote it (or add comments). Would this be helpful as you're editing images, or more to just be able to see the images correctly (facing the right way)?

@stephanie westbrook hows this tracking in the world of wrike development? Rotating an image is needed for both the reasons you noted above, its becoming quite a hindering item in the reviews process

Yes, my design group agrees. We look at packaging itmes all the time and a flat view of a 3 dimensional item does not display all angles or panels upwards so we need to turn things to view.

Likewise - our team really needs the rotation feature for reviewing packaging artwork.

I proof 3D packaging files on a regular basis (so dealing with text running in various directions all the time). Loving Wrike's other PM features like the ability to annotate a PDF, but find it very frustrating that I have to leave the usual work environment and use a separate tool (like Adobe Acrobat) simply to rotate and read attachments. This seems to be a fairly standard feature in similar platforms for project management.

Please, please ask your dev team to bump this up the queue, as I imagine other creative teams are similarly frustrated. Otherwise, really love how much work I can do directly in Wrike–finding a fix for this issue would really make your platform an all-in-one solution 🙏

we also work with packaging artwork creation in wrike and use the review function where we need to be able to rotate the pdfs that are 'flat' which means that texts at the moment only can be read upside down which isn't very convenient.. we love the tool besides that! 🙂

Needs Rotate function for packaging, without the simple function falls short

I would also like to request rotate feature. I would suggest:

1. add two rotate icons to the bottom center controls on the image preview that will rotate image 90 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise for each click
2. make comments, or comment markers to rotate with image as well to preserve comment context

Revised image control UI attached here for example. Rotate controls added just after size control.

@Joseph, I like your suggestion for the UI 👏 This is what our team is hoping for too!

Hello, we are finding this is becoming more and more of an issue - any updates

Hey guys, great news - you can now rotate images in Proofing. The new button rotates the image clockwise by 90°. It works with all images that are open in Proofing. Rotation is reset when you close Proofing or switch to the next image.

Not to sound ungrateful, but if PDF support could be added that would be wonderful. In the meantime this is a major upgrade.
