Tasks: Change order of a new task in list view
When you create a new task, it's placed at the top of the list. Could you change it so it goes in the order of when you created it?
When I'm creating a new project or a To Do List, I'm adding tasks in the order of which they need to be completed.
For Example -
This is the order I would like to see when adding new tasks.
Build a New House Project
1. Poor foundation
2. Build frame
3. Add walls
This is how Wrike adds my tasks -
Build a New House Project
1. Add walls
2. Build frame
3. Poor foundation
Thanks a lot for your detailed feedback here Keith Canniff, I will pass it on to the team 👍

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Let us assume that stains cannot be definitive or static, because they are precisely stains.
A stain is replaceable, removable, more or less important than other stains and also there will always be new spots that can be added.
Therefore, the order of the tasks must be flexible and modifiable without constraints.
It is unacceptable that a few people say that Wrike is the best program and that we have to be content with what gives us. Precisely, the team of developers must listen to our solicitudes in order to change and improve the product.
If there are queries about it, it is because they are important.
Hi there Rénovations Nouvelle Vie 👋
I understand your point! We do have a process for Community feedback where votes are important for the Product team to be able to assess the popularity of different suggestions here. We will add a Product status to this post as soon as it reaches 60 upvotes. At the same time, our Product team can't commit to working on all or even most of the suggestions here. They do try to fit some Community ideas into their plans. For example, here's the list of suggestions from this forum that have been implemented last year 👍
For the order of tasks, you can change the order using sorting. If you sort by priority, you can easily change the order to the one you want. I understand that this is not exactly what you're asking here, but I'm hoping it can help. We will continue passing on new feedback from this thread and we'll let you know if there are any changes regarding this suggestion.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

I am having the problem that my "projects" keep organizing alphabetically & that is not what I want them to do.😔 it is a pain to have to number them, it just ends up looking sloppy to my customers having all these projects & projects with a bunch of numbers Infront of every title.
Welcome to the Community Brittany Papiro, and thank you for sharing your feedback on the project order, I'm passing it on to our Product team now.
Please let me know if I can help you with anything else!

Is this truly still a problem? I am having trouble finding a solution and can't understand why this is an issue to begin with. I want to drag and drop tasks to establish the order I want. Pretty simple expectation for a project management application.
We just started using Wrike and I already feel as if I need to consider a move to Zoho or even back to Asana.
Maybe I am missing a solution that was already implemented?
Hi @..., thanks for your response. Your suggestion, while appreciated, is just not a solution to this gap. Looks like this suggestion may be the de facto response when this question comes up (see Lisa's post farther up the thread). We just want the ability to list things in an order we want. This feature seems to exist on almost every other platform I've seen. There is even a feature already in Wrike that enables you to drag tasks around (see image below) but only allows you to drag and drop to create an indent (looks like sub-task/indent type of function?). I've already had multiple teammates come ask me if we actually have to stick with Wrike and we've only been using it a week. They want to switch because something as simple as this seems to be a no-brainer to most of the team. I love a lot of the features in Wrike, but if the tool isn't easy/convenient to use (a major value add for a tool the enables organization and structure) then those great features can't be leveraged. I'm sure I'll be asked about my thoughts on Zoho and Asana soon enough, and I won't be able to go to bat for Wrike and defend it as strongly if people simply don't like using it for simple gaps like this. Resolving this small-yet-impactful strange gap in functionality would go a long way to enabling easier use and simpler/greater functionality.
Thanks @..., that is helpful. Wish I could also do this in the Gantt Chart view, but it doesn't work there. We will see if this workaround in the Table view is good enough though.
Glad to hear Juan's suggestion may work for you Chris Idelson 🙂 Please let us know how it goes!
