Leave Team

I'm on two teams too.  One is a old team created in 2013 and is no longer active. The other team is one I want work with on a daily basis.  

Hi Tim! Yes, I can see the two accounts you're part of. It looks like Tim Maly is the admin for the 2013 account and he would be able to remove you from that account. Let me know if you're not in touch with Tim anymore and we can figure out what to do next.

I am in a similar situation - I was added to a team whilst we were testing Wrike to see if it will be a good fit for us. Now that co-worker claims he does not remember the password (he created a temp account for testing) and his team is listed as a default team for me. How can leave this testing team? Someone at my old job thought they would try out WRIKE and added me to his team but he never used WRIKE and I can't remove myself from his team.  I don't want to see his team anymore.  How can I remove it?

I have the same problem, rather annoying that people can add me to their team and there's nothing I can do to stop it or remove myself!

If I log in with my own account, I must be the one who has ultimate control over what I see, not somebody else.

Hi Paulo, welcome to the Community! :) Are you still in touch with the account owner or admins there? If yes, the best option would be to ask them to remove you from the account. If not, please let me know, and I'll send this over to the Support Team.

We have tried WRIKE in my job but now we don't use it anymore and I can't remove myself from this previous team. I want to use WRIKE with my collegue and i don't want to see this old team. How can I remove it?

Hi Mateusz, completely understand! Only admins can actually remove someone from a team. Are you able to reach out to the Wrike admin for the account you want to leave and have them follow these instructions to remove you from that account?

with all due respect, being able to leave a team sounds like a reasonable requirement. Something along this:

"As a team member I want to be able to leave a team I was erroneously added to without having to jump through hoops so that I can be more efficient and not waste my or other peoples' time."

Most Wrike users are responsible adults and will probably use this power to leave a team responsibly. Thank you in advance.

The person that added me to their team doesn't respond to me or Wrike.  I'm stuck with their team in my account and can never leave it.  It's so annoying.
