[Status: Investigating ๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™€๏ธ(Released in Wrike Labs ๐Ÿฅณ)] Due date-time

I want to be able to define a due time for tasks, not just due date. There are specific , time sensitive, tasks that need to be delivered on a specific time during the day. At the moment we need to enter this information at the task title which is not ideal.

Also using the "duration" doesn't work because the team then needs to agree on a convention i.e. 4 hours of duration means 1pm . And what about 9pm? How would we indicate that?

This is a very needed feature. Right now the only way I know how to do this is by adding it to Google Calendar, but sometimes I just don't need it in Calendar.ย

My company is just starting to use Wrike and definitely need this feature as well. We run a lot projects that are time sensitive rather then just "day" sensitive. Would love to see this feature added. Sounds like a lot of the timeline is being reworked currently though so I'm sure it's importance is on your radar :)

We are coming up for renewal on our Wrike subscription. The lack of being able to schedule both a date and time has substantially detracted from the utility of Wrike. As we consider renewing or not, this could be the deciding factor. Please tell me this is on the roadmap!

Hi all, thanks for your votes and feedback on this, it really helps our teams understand your requirements. This is something our Product team is looking to implement in the future however we don't have any dates to share. As soon as we have more information we'll be sure to share with you here.

every event/project we have is time dependent, to the point that we are using a separate program to deal with it, so ANY movement to including it into the productย would be appreciated.

I would also volunteer to BETA test any portion of it....

We work according to time as well as date. It is necessary.

Also, please let us have DAY (Mon, Tue,...)

Hard to believeย this isn't a feature already, along with a proper calendar view.... Wrike has a lot of amazing features - I'm currently demoing the product for our company.... I certainly hope the development team at Wrike adds some more robust time management features in the near future.ย

Hi! I've up voted this request, but hoping to hear if there's been any update on it. Last mentioned by @Anastasia was that this isn't even on the road map yet. This feature is crucial to my company's ability to manage projects on Wrike. I'm our Company Account Manager and daily I receive complaints about not being able to schedule tasks by time. At this point weย are using both the Wrike calendar to schedule tasks and Outlook calendar to schedule times for many of these tasks. It'sย very messy when we're trying to manage multi million dollar projects with tight time constraints! Please prioritize this feature.

Another vote for getting this on the "roadmap" ASAP, working in the print industry we are more and more having to be time specific with deliveries/collections and this is really a must have feature.

Do we know what sort of items are in front of this on the roadmap?

Please, please do this as a matter of urgency.

How frustrating that the tool is missing such a critical feature.ย  Back to decades-old public folder calendars.ย ย

Use case:ย  This would be useful.ย  Otherwise users are forced to duplicate tasks with specific "due" times in their calendar application.

Having actual times would be awesome - our team has weekly, daily and hourly deadlines to hit so this is very important to us. Thanks!ย

Yes, please! We also have a lot of subtasks that a are time sensitive, like setting certain things live on our website. Having the task indicate the time would be very helpful.

Agreed! It would also help with Employees ability to set their schedule. As we move forward with Wrike, there is more and more need within our franchise base to be able to calendar TIME for an event not just duration. Our franchise base is split between those who use Google and those who use Office, so the Google Calendar solution doesn't work for us.ย

ย

Perhaps a more broad iCal option that can integrate with multiple calendar options would be helpful. We would also need this to work independently for each office. It can't be something that the entire enterprise account integrates since we have independently owned franchise locations.ย

ย

Especially when we add things like showing properties, it would be beneficial to our franchise base if we had a time feature.ย

@Kelli Hi there! We have an icalย option that works with a few different calendars (Google, Calendar on Mac, and Outlook). Would any of those work for you?

Definitively a +1 for me!

We should be able to manage the end time for sensitive tasks as mentionned before, but I would really like to set up the start time also! I want to move the tasks in the timeline view from an hour to another, not just from days to days. Let's say at mid-day I get a rush job andย it takes more than 4h hours to complete, I can only make it start at the beginning of either today or tomorrow, and both will create a shift in the following tasks so the schedule is off..!

This feature will also help us manage the task assignment according to other "events" that are not created in Wrike (and shouldn't be) such as meetings, or it would let us put some time buffers between tasks.

The other thing that would be nice about allowing times of day to be entered is that if someone has a half day of vacation, we should be able to choose that. They can still take on work that day, just a shortened amount of work.ย

The way it is set up now, I cannot assign someone work even if they will be in for four hours.ย

@Stephanie Yes it would be helpful for some things, but I would much rather users be able to stay in Wrike to manage their time rather than having to use an outside application. The more true integration the better.ย

Hi

Love wrike, but this is one of a few issues I just can't believe have been overlooked. Why put so much effort into a time management program where I can set a time for a meeting?ย Makes no sense Even in the meeting app which is a ton of features but apparently doesn't allow me to set a time for the meeting? Seriously? I've spent weeks learning your software, but now I question if I can even use it. I have a ton of people to coordinate, things have to happen at certain times! For example, I want to use wrike for employee schedules...nope. You work on Monday. Time....not available.ย I really don't understand how this problem can exist in a mature sophisticated program like yours.

+1 for this request. Specifying a time for a task would definitely be beneficial for us to use.ย

The reason why I have searched for this feature was that we need it for a window of time, not only the end time. As some of our tasks have a specific window that something needs to be completed in. I.e. Something needs to be dropped off between 1pm-4pm.ย

While the option to be able to specify the final due date 4pm is important I already know thatย I would probably follow up to Wrike with asking for a window of timeย (rather then 1 time) at a later date. Because in this circumstance the start time is as important to know as the end time.

What a laugh, the inability to assignย a simple time to a task is evidence that Wrike is a worthlessย company that is headed the way of antiquated software. They probably can't add times without breaking all their spaghetti code. Literally people would rather use Todoist than this overpriced garbage with 5 minimum seats and required annual plans. The annual contract is evidence that they know they sell a bad product, and have to sucker people into 12 month traps.ย

@Dean Davis We're all aware of the fact that Wrike is a relatively new software that's in development. We're here to help them with those developments. They listen to our feedback and I'm sure work hard to respond to their customer's needs. This isn't a social media page, please don't abuse their customer feedback platform by polluting it with your unprofessional comments.ย

Hourly scheduling ability is the only critical feature we are missing so far in Wrike, this would be extremely beneficial for us when creating gantt charts on scheduled downtime projects where operations are planned down to the hour.ย ย
