Actual Finish Date

By default, you are able to select a date range that the task needs to be finished. If it finishes early, without updating the 'Finish Date', the only way to pull up tasks by their completed date is to open it and look for the date next to the alert saying the task was completed. It would be nice if there was a field that updated upon completion of a task and could be used for searching/filtering.

Hi @Matt, thanks for posting this here! We have a filter that may be useful for you in this case.To filter tasks:

  1. From the List View, click the filter icon above the task list.
  2. Click "Advanced filters".
  3. Check the box next to "completed on". A "completed on" section now appears on your filter panel.
  4. Select the date, or date range, which you would like to filter by.

Your task list will adjust so that you only see tasks which were changed to a completed status on the date (or within the date range) you selected. I hope that helps, but let me know if you were trying to achieve something else.

I want to be able to see the date it was MARKED completed as a column in a report/table. Otherwise I am having to look at each individual task to see exactly when it was marked completed. I don't want to filter by week and then have to look at every weekly task one by one. I just want to see this info in a column so I can run department scorecards.

On the Table view of a project - I would like to add a column that shows the date when a person marks a task complete.  How do I do this?

This information isn't currently available as a separate column in the Table View, and this Community post is a great place to add your vote for this suggestions. @Matt was initially asking about filtering for this info, but as @Heather mentioned, it would be useful to have this information available as a separate column in the Table View as well. I do want to mention that it's possible to pull this information in Reports, by enabling the column from the Report's gear icon:

I would like a completed date to appear automatically as per the actual completed date instead of entering manually.

It would be great to have an actual count of these days from task start to completed. At the moment the duration counts the days you anticipated it will take not the days it actually took. so, a count of the inputed start or created date to the date it is marked as completed.

I agree with Heather here - I would like to see the actual completed date whether it was before the due date or the after the due date. +1 vote on this feature.

Honestly, I don't understand how wrike doesn't have this functionality.

Being able to control start date, due date and actual completion date is basic for project management.

Is there a way by which I can export all the events with accompanying dates to excel?

Any update on this? 

Being able to see when something was completed rather than filtering for stuff completed by a certain date is crazy important. For those of us trying to use Wrike with an agile methodology, we have no way to see a burndown by points, only by tasks.

 

My current process is to export out to Excel, then make a chart, but again, without the dates something was completed, I'm wasting my time

I totally agree with all above.... it's really rather basic and crucial to project management to see the start date, due date and actual completion date for projects.  Please advise if this functionality is being planned.  Thanks.

Could also really use this feature. We turn reports in to a government agency and are supposed to receive feedback within a certain amount of time (usually 30 days). It would be very helpful to see the actual finished date so that we know to followup if nothing has been received from the agency.
