[Status: Not Planned] Ordered active tasks based on dependency - My Work

When we create a series of tasks, we can create a dependency between them that shows the second task will not start until the first task is complete.   However currently all the tasks show in my-work.

It would be good if the second task didn't show until the first was completed.  This is determined by the dependency relationship between tasks.

This is something we could also use and came here hoping to find was available. We need to be able to sort tasks by "allowable" tasks and not have our field techs out on their laptops and phone trying to search a task that only to get to an Oil Well and it not be a ready task. I see that this has been a request by several users since Jan of 2017. It would be helpful for Wrike to listen to it's users and put this on the short-term roadmap. A "red light", "green light" option for tasks would be nice as requested above.

I just wanted to add my vote for this option. If the "my work" or the "dashboard" were able to filter according to the status (all dependencies completed), that would help us greatly to focus when we work on (or manage) multiple projects at the same time.

This is really something we need! For Dashboard and reports juste like any other filter.

Dear Wrike team,

Any progress on planning this feature to the 2019 roadmap?

Stephen in May 2018 said that there were some work to be done on dependencies before moving onto this feature, did you guy worked on it?

Thanks

Have there been any updates on this (looks like the last mention from Stephen at Wrike was over a year ago)? Upvoted and sent to our team to upvote as well.

The review and dealing with "blocked" dependent tasks is a time suck and a major pain for our team.
