Navigating Wrike’s Extension for Adobe Creative Cloud

Overview

Wrike's Extension for Adobe Creative Cloud allows you to work with Wrike tasks from Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Premiere Pro) and links Adobe file attachments with Wrike tasks.

Open the extension

Wrike's Extension for Adobe Creative Cloud must be installed before you can open it. You must open and log in to the extension separately in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign respectively.

  1. Open Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign.

  2. Click Window in the top toolbar. 1

  3. Hover over Extensions (legacy) 2 and select Wrike. 3

  4. Enter your Wrike username and password and log in. You can start using the extension as soon as you're logged in.

  • Open the extension to see tasks from My to-do. 1

  • Click the default sorting option to choose a sorting option for the tasks.

  • Use the search box at the top of the extension to look for specific tasks. 2

  • A task’s due date is to the right of its name. If the task is overdue, then its due date is shown in red. 3

  • Click the drop-down arrow to the left of a task’s name to expand the task and see more options. 4

  • Click Comments to view and reply to comments. 5

  • If there's an unread Inbox notification related to a task, then a blue dot appears to the right of the task's name.

  • View and change a task’s status from the task’s upper right-hand corner after clicking Description. 6

To access the secondary menu hover over the thumbnail of a file attached to a Wrike task and click the three-dot menu icon that appears in the upper right-hand corner.

  • Upload as lets you change the upload preferences for the attached preview (file format, image size, and artboard options).

  • Delete deletes the attachment preview from Wrike (the file in Adobe remains preserved).

  • Open Proofing opens Wrike proofing for the file within the Adobe app you're using.

  • Add to review allows you to create a file approval from within the Wrike extension.
