Deactivating Custom Fields
Deactivating custom fields hides them from users without deleting any data, making it easier to manage and update your workspace. Only admins can see and restore deactivated fields. Use the toggle switch in the custom fields settings (at either the space or account level) to deactivate or activate a field whenever you need.

Important
When you deactivate a custom field, Wrike keeps all its data. You can still view the field and its values in read-only mode, but you can’t make any changes. Some automations, forms, or API connections may be affected. Reactivate the field anytime to restore all info and connections.
To activate a custom field, switch on the Status toggle of the custom field you want to restore.
Note
When you deactivate a custom field, the field isn’t removed from the locations where it’s used, like tasks, projects, dashboards, or reports. If the field is attached to a location and enabled in a view, it will still appear there until you hide it. Admins and owners can view all deactivated custom fields in the list, edit or update them, and restore them at any time.
