Sharing Calendars With People Outside of Wrike

Overview

Regular users can generate links to share calendar layers with non-Wrike users. Anyone with the link will have an up-to-date view of all tasks and projects within the shared layers.

How to Create Public Links

  1. Navigate to the relevant calendar from your Home page, you cannot create a link when you have navigated to a calendar from a space.

  2. Make sure that you have checked the boxes of all calendar layers that you need to share. 1 Only checked items will be visible to the people with the link.

  3. Click Public Links 2 in the upper-right corner.

  4. Click + New Link. 3

  5. Enter the public link title.

    Note

    The title will be visible to people who open the public link.

  6. Press Enter on your keyboard.

How to Change a Link Title

You can rename links that you created.

  1. Navigate to the relevant calendar.

  2. Click Public Links in the upper-right corner.

  3. Hover over the link you would like to rename.

  4. Click the pencil icon. Calendars_-_Edit_public_link_icon.png

  5. Enter a new link title.

  6. Press Enter on your keyboard.

How to Invalidate a Link

You can invalidate links that you created.

  1. Navigate to the relevant calendar.

  2. Click Public Links in the upper-right corner.

  3. Hover over the link you would like to invalidate.

  4. Select the trash can icon. Calendars_-_Invalidate_public_link_icon.png

  5. Click Yes to confirm that you want to delete the external link.

The link is invalid and when clicked, it will no longer display any calendar data.

How to Disable the Option to Create Public Links

Admins on Business and higher accounts can disable the ability to create public links. Admins on Enterprise accounts may have this right disabled. Learn more about Controlled Admin Permissions.

To disable the option to create public calendar links:

  1. Click your profile image in the workspace's upper-right corner.

  2. Select Settings.

  3. Switch to the Security tab. 1

  4. Scroll to the External sharing policy section.

  5. Uncheck the box next to Allow users to create public links. 2

  6. Click Save changes. 3

Users on the account can no longer create public calendar links and all existing links are invalidated.
