Overview

Regular and external users can edit or delete calendars and layers that they have access to.

The most basic aspects of calendars and layers are set up when they’re created but can be edited at any time.

Change a calendar name

  1. Navigate to the Calendars tab 1 in the sidebar.

    Note

    If you can’t see it in the sidebar, click on the More button 2 and select Calendars from the list.

  2. In the left-hand panel, hover over the calendar name and click the three-dot menu button 3, or right-click the calendar whose name you wish to change.

  3. Select Rename 4 from the menu that appears.

  4. Enter a new name for the calendar and press Enter to save the changes.

Edit a calendar layer

  1. In the left-hand panel, hover over the calendar layer name and click the three-dot menu button 1, or right-click the calendar layer that you want to edit.

  2. Select Settings 2 from the menu that appears.

  3. In the window that opens, you can:

    • Change the layer title 3.

    • For smart layers: change which folders, projects, or spaces to include tasks or projects from 4; include or exclude tasks and projects from subfolders and subprojects 5; apply different filters 6.

    • Change what the layer should display: full task and project durations, or just the due dates 7.

    • Click Save 8.

Your settings are applied.

Change a layer color

To change the color of tasks or projects on a calendar layer:

  1. In the left-hand panel, hover over the calendar layer name and click the three-dot menu button 1, or right-click the calendar layer that you want to change the color.

  2. Hover over Change color 2 in the menu that appears.

  3. Select a color from the panel 3.

Tasks or projects on the calendar immediately change color (unless you have applied coloring by status).
