All users, except for Collaborators, Contributors, and Viewers, can create blueprints.
Saving a task as a blueprint involves creating a reusable template that can be used to copy the task and its details across different projects.
By saving tasks as blueprints, teams can streamline their workflows, improve productivity, and maintain high standards of quality and consistency in their work.
-
Navigate to the folder, project, or space where the task is located, switch to Table view.
-
Hover over the task title, click the three-dot menu button 1 or right click the task.
-
Select Save as Blueprint 2 from the drop-down menu.
-
In the pop-up that appears, enter a name for the blueprint 3, enter a title prefix (optional) 4, select if you want the blueprint to belong to the current space or the whole account 5, and select the blueprint folder or project where you want to save it 6.
Note
If you don’t select a location, your blueprint will be saved at the top level under Blueprints.
-
Check the boxes of available attributes to indicate which attributes you want to copy from a task to a blueprint 7: description, attachments, assignees, and custom field values.

Select whether or not to reschedule tasks and subtasks 8. If rescheduling, set start and end dates.
-
Click Save 9.
