Deleting a Recurrence
TL;DR
To delete a task recurrence, open any task in the recurrence, click the three-dot menu, select Edit recurrence, then click Delete. This stops new recurring tasks and removes unedited ones. If Edit recurrence is grayed out, add the task to a folder/project/space first.

All users, except for Collaborators, Contributors, and Viewers, with whom a task is shared can delete the recurrence unless their access role restricts it.
- Open any Task 1 which is a part of the recurrence in Item view.
- Click the three-dot menu 2 button in the upper-right corner of the task's item view.
-
Select Edit recurrence 3 from the drop-down menu that appears.
-
Click Delete 4 at the bottom of the pop-up that appears.
New recurrent tasks will no longer be created, and all tasks in the recurrence sequence that weren't manually edited are deleted.
Note
Deleting a recurrent task doesn't stop new recurrent tasks from being created. To stop the recurrence, follow these instructions.
