(Optional) Configure Your Browser for Document Editor

Document Editor is available for all Wrike users.

In most cases, you won't need to change your browser configuration to use Document Editor. For example, Edge and Safari always automatically use the system preferences, and there's no need to configure the browser’s settings.

On this page, you can read about cases when some additional configuration is required.

Chrome browser

For Windows 7 and 10 and Mac, Chrome automatically uses your system preferences, and there's no need to change your browser settings.

For Windows 8:

  1. Click the browser’s menu button in the upper right-hand corner.

  2. Click Settings.

  3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click S how advanced settings…

  4. Scroll to the Network section and click Change proxy settings…

  5. In the field under Bypass proxy settings for these Hosts & Domains, add "".

Firefox browser

  1. Click your browser’s menu button and select Preferences.

  2. Click the Advanced tab.

  3. Click the Settings… button.

  4. Mark the checkbox next to Use system proxy settings.

  5. Click OK.

If Firefox doesn’t use the proxy settings correctly, you can go to Firefox’s preferences page, click the Advanced tab, click the Settings… button, and in the exceptions field at the bottom of the page, enter "".
